Assessment Week Results

In the week beginning 7th March year 2 students completed practice exams in the majority of subjects. These results will be available to view from 4.30 pm on Friday 15th April and give a good indication of progress as we approach the crucial summer examination period. The results will be indicated by a grade from A* to U. In some cases teachers will have added a comment of encouragement or offering advice on areas to work on. If you would like a discussion regarding results please contact your son or daughter’s Student Support Tutor in the first instance.

Please note that the following subjects did not set a mock exam (either because they are 100% coursework or were focussing on a coursework unit in March)

  • Art
  • Graphics
  • Health and Social Care
  • Music
  • Performance Studies
  • Photography
  • Textiles
  • Travel and Tourism
  • all BTEC Level 3 subjects.

Absence Reporting

The College’s reporting response to student absence is by text. This system is designed to inform you if your son or daughter misses any college commitments. An automated text will be sent to your agreed mobile number after 3.30pm on any day where a commitment is missed (and we have not received a contact from you before the lesson begins to explain the absence).

You are welcome to contact the college, following receipt of a text, where routine information eg. which lessons your son or daughter was absent from can be provided by our Admin Team and, if a more detailed discussion is needed, they will put you in touch with the appropriate Student Support Tutor. Please be aware that college opening times are 8.00 am to 5.00 pm (Mon-Thurs), 8.00 am to 4.30 pm (Fri).
